As a someone who spent most of his teens in the ’80s al I can say is YES THIS IS TRUE.
Also, I hate to shock you, but everyone in the ’70s didn’t wear disco gear. And the ’60s? Some people actually weren’t hippies!
Also, the only people who wore more than one piece of Day-glo clothing at one time were Gene Simmons and people in commercials for Day-glo clothing.
